So in my quest to find the new Pennywise Pop, I stopped by my local Newbury Comics again, which has a wall devoted to Pops. They still have yet to get it in, but they did have a sale going on, and a few King ones, so I ended up picking up Carrie and Jack Torrance.

I never told what happened at my my local Hot Topic as far as the Balloon variants. I went there and asked all about Pennywise and would they be getting any of the balloon variants. The woman said I dunno maybe, I said they are HT exclusive and she was like OK, one sec. So my name goes down on a waiting list. About a week goes by and I miss a phone call that my nephew took. Apparently they called and were going to tell me they would hold my HT Balloon variant for 24 hours and then it would go to the next on the list but since I had missed the call, my name went back down to the bottom. I called the next day and another girl said she had about three or four left and if no one came to claim them by the end of the day I could call back the next morning and put a hold on one until I got there. I had 24 hours to get it. So that's how my local Hot Topic handled their exclusives. I paid $5 for my Hot Topic exclusive Pennywise with the savings card I have there. Pretty Sweet.

It's true. The shipping takes longer, obviously, to get here. Funko is on the west coast. The stores put them out as soon as they are received and they get shipments all the time. They can never tell you when anything is coming in because it's a guessing game as to what is on the truck. Target is the worst!Quote:
