I wonder if these will be available by Christmas. My kids would love getting these for me.
I'm a little surprised at the axe since I assume it is a reference to Kubrick's The Shining. Although, an axe is more menacing than a croquet mallet.
I suppose one could argue it's a reference to the novel Misery (which I need an Annie Wilkes POP immediately) but movie fans that haven't read the book wouldn't get that.
Those two figures just don't seem Stephen Kingy enough for me but if I see one I'll probably have to pick it up.
I will NOT be buying these. Just junk to me. There comes a time when you can have too much of these and other knic knacs on a shelf. It begins to hide the beautiful books. Hard pass for me.
