What about Rick from Walking Dead as Roland...?? I was watching the finale when he started to get a little more sure of himself and "harder" (if that is a good word to use) and I could almost see it if he got his acting chops together!

Someone after my own heart...
I don't buy the whole Timothy Olyphant as a bad-ass thing. I know a lot of people do, I just don't see it. He seems full of himself :orely:
what about Scott Eastwood as Roland, looks the spitting image of his dad in the Dollars trilogy

considering Eastwood's character was an inspiration for Roland

I could see that working.
This may sound a bit strange, but as I read the series over the years, I always imagined an animated adaptation of the books. The funny thing is, the entire time I had thought of such an adaptation... the art style I pictured was almost identical to the Marvel graphic novels. When the graphic novels began coming out years later, I was literally blown away by the fact that the artwork was so FAMILIAR to me. Years and years I had pictured a film with that very same artwork. It was rather bizarre!

I wish Hollywood would stop re-doing great movies (just announced Predator re-boot) and put some money into making this amazing! I pray for it....
Here's something to chew on....

"First off... Susannah has legs. What the shit?"
My very first thought too. NB none of these images would be related to events with Mia.
Also... the flythrough with a rusting car in the middle of Tull. Assuming known timelines, would they really leave that in the middle of the damn road for 100's of years? Especially one as narrow as that. :nope:
My prediction from a few years ago was that HBO would end up doing a TV show, and that they would decide that Susannah does have legs, but doesn't wear shirts. Looks like we're partway there.
Got too much the look of an 80s end time movie. The Tull Pictures would fit more or less as I imagined the streets of Lud (without the sand). Tull was in my mind the typical cliche Spaghettiwestern city and not a run down industry park. Devar Toi looks like lazy-town... dont like it very much. The Manni Village looks interesting but why is Lud there on the horizon? River Crossing was not a Manni Village.
Susannah with legs is a massive disappointment.
going on about Susannah with legs reminded me i saw something a few days ago and i don't know if these are official

I like Susannah with legs. And I dig those concept sketches.
