Mine is a VERY tight squeeze. I'm keeping it separate.

I'll keep mine in an archival plastic bag. It should be okay there.

I wish I had the problem of how to store my sketchbook.
If anyone is willing to part with one I am interested in buying.

I posted most of this message on a Stephen King message board recently, but I figured those of your waiting on the Limited and Lettered Editions of The Shining wouldn't mind an update. To the below I can add that the traycases are now finished and en route to our warehouse. We'll fit The Shining into our shipping schedule as quickly as possible once the cases are in hand.
Now that the Gift Edition is out, and has been very kindly received, I should talk a little about the Signed, Limited Edition. In many ways, it differs from the Gift Edition significantly, including:
It's printed on different, but similar paper than the Gift.
There is no dust jacket. The dust jacket illustration is included as a frontispiece.
The end sheets from the Gift Edition are presented as a fold-out illustration.
The Signed, Limited Edition has our printer's equivalent of deckled edges.
The book is housed in a cloth covered slipcase with the lettering and graphic much more deeply embossed than most traycases.
There may be a few other distinctions, but I've forgotten them for the moment. We expect the traycases in the next few weeks, at which point we'll start shipping as quick as we can.
Finally, thanks to everyone who has been waiting so patiently for the various editions
Best,
Bill

PS. I didn't mention the lettered edition. If this comes together as expected, it'll be one for the ages.
I want a lettered. lol
2 grand I thought
That is a big price tag. For comparisons sake what was the price on the wild edition of The Women (by Jack Ketchum) that had a cage and included a real bone attached to the cover? I know the name factor for this SK book would preclude it from having anything so eloborate but I'm curious.
They are using Stephen Kings hair to wove into the cover. Epic I tell you. Epic.
I just got an email from Sub. Press that I have a package coming to me. It has to be the S/L because I have already gotten my GE from them. So I can't wait to see it anyone else got the email?
Did you order anything else lately? I don't think the S/l is coming for another week or two but I may be incorrect.
I got a notice also, I believe it is the slipcase for NOS4A2
I got a shipping notification also. It'll be the slipcase for NOS4A2 I think.
I'm thinking it is going to be a traycase - maybe he meant to say traycase and typed slipcase instead:
Lettered: 52 signed, specially bound copies, housed in a custom traycase, with an original remarque.
Limited: 750 signed numbered copies, housed in a custom traycase
Gift: 1500 unsigned cloth bound copies, housed in a custom slipcase
I have a copy on the way of the GE with sketch book if anyone is interested. $150 PayPal gift
The only thing I have ordered is the S/L of The Shining.
I wished I had gotten NOS4A2 that is a beautiful looking book. If I did have one I would have ordered a traycase for it.
But I may have ordered one in case I was able to get one. I will let you know when I get it.
