I kept watching that Sherlock/Doctor's Case proof set go lower and lower. I was like "Why is no one buying this!? I sold Sharon's for $300ish a year or so ago!"
I saw the proofs sitting without bids at $145 and with a few hours left and I made the seller an offer. Counteroffer was $120, which I accepted.

Yesterday I met Justin Cronin for the 2nd time-he is a very funny guy!

The US Hardcover signed :To Michael "All Eyes" signed and dated
He spoke and answered questions for an hour and stated that he has NEVER had this many people at a book signing. He married a woman from Minnesota so he always likes to come here.
Very fun night.

Cool newspapers. My dad was friends with David Powers who was in the car behind Kennedy's. He was a nice guy from what I remember, I was young when I knew him.
