There are two ways to post photos. Either upload the photo to a web site that hosts photos and link to the photo with the http://www.thedarktower.org/palaver/...nsertimage.png icon, or you can upload to the site server in the Gallery.
To upload to the site server: Click Gallery. From the upper right of the menu on top of the new page click Upload Photos. Click the Browse button. Navigate to the photo on your hard drive and select it. Repeat for each photo. Click Open. Wait for the photo[s] to upload. When it's complete you will be taken back to your gallery.
You have three picture posting options. You can post the thumbnail, the medium sized image below the thumbnail, or you can click on the medium sized image and another window will open with a full sized image. Right click the image you want. Select Copy Image Location, then click the http://www.thedarktower.org/palaver/...nsertimage.png button in the thread you want and paste the image location in the box. Click OK.
You did it!
This is from the Betts Books site:

This is my last refresh until Friday Nov 6th at 4pm when I plan to upload 1/3rd of new consignment. It will be a level playing field for ALL. Consignee sent out (2 months ago) the spreadsheet of items to several people and while I have received requests from over 15 people in the meantime requesting certain items, I have REFUSED those requests. First come first served seems to be the fairest way. I anticipate popular items will be claimed QUICKLY (like the first 10 minutes)...remember, this is only PART of the new consignment. I still need to inventory and prices A LOT of items.
It was pretty hard. I spent a lot of time and effort collecting these, and deciding to let them go was difficult. One of the deciding factors was my going to a nursing home with no possibility of ever leaving it. Another was my wife's desire to downsize the house and not having room in the new place for the books. At least, selling them through Betts almost guaranteed that they would go to people who would appreciate them. Just the thought of never seeing them again was, and still is, hard.

Thanks John. I hope to give a couple of them, as you know, a loving home. There is solace (as you said) in that. I think other collectors getting them is a great thing and I hope to see that happiness someday as they have brought me. I am sorry you are selling your collection as I know one day that will be hard for me to. Cheers my friend and thanks for sharing....
I'm very sorry you're selling your collection, John. :(
Sorry you had to make this hard decision John.
A hard decision for sure John, but in the end none of us ever 'own' these books, we are merely fortunate caretakers for a while.
Agreed.

John, if i buy one from your collection, please know, it will get the care and attention it deserves and will remain here as long as i am here. Good luck.
All the best with the sale, John. I appreciate the difficulty in this decision, and the recent transitions in your life. I hope to place one or two of your books in Australia. Good luck!
Thanks!
John
