I'm holding out for General Mill's. Really looking forward to a Count Chocula series, and a whole monster serial lineup.
Also count me in the group of Lisey's Story haters. UGH! Also not a fan of Julianne Moore. Doesn't bother me that it will be on some streaming service that I have no intention on subscribing to. There is already too many streaming services, the market will get too segmented.
Well Apple apparently is also doing a Foundation series....
This is surprisingly close to me:

A film crew has descended on Central Jersey for an adaptation of a Stephen King novel.
"Lisey’s Story” starring Julianne Moore is slated to air as eight episodes for Apple TV, produced by J.J. Abrams according to published reports including The Hollywood Reporter. The novel was published in 2006.
Township Manager Robert Vornlocker said the project was issued a permit for filming Wednesday through Friday and that the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission is involved.
The production is set up at the Van Liew-Suydam House, an "1800s farmhouse on a hill in a corn field," as Vonlocker described it, with the crew also staging at nearby Middlebush Park, as he confirmed.
Vornlocker said he's been told Moore is on-set, but he hasn’t been there to see her in-person.
The home is owned by Franklin Township and maintained by the non-profit Meadows Foundation.
A representative for the Foundation said they have signed a "non-disclosure agreement and cannot discuss our client's use of the property." Access to the house also is restricted until the rental is done.
According to IMDB.com, Clive Owen also is co-starring in the project, as Moore's fictional husband.
Dane DeHaan (Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets) has been cast as the opposite lead of Lisey’s Story, alongside (or may we say, against) Julianne Moore, Clive Owen and Joan Allen (as Lisey's oldest sister Amanda).
DeHaan will portray Jim Dooley, an obsessed fan of Scott’s (played by Clive Owen) books that wants to see his unpublished work release publicly.
Seems like the series will be titled "Faces", with the guy that did the cinematography from "Uncut Gems" (althought I thought it was almost done with the shooting)

If the book is any indication this oughta be a huge, stinking turd!!! lol
Just like the book.
Almost unreadable. In fact, I have never completed the novel...Hated it!
I started and finished the turd last year, third time was a charm. It got better but still not my favorite. I think it will be like Gerald’s Game for me. The book was just ok but the movie was much better.
New paperback to be released June 1 from Scribner that includes an exclusive interview with King. Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1982147792/ref=rdr_ext_tmb

The series starts in exactly 1 month & 1 day !
Surely they will release tomorrow the first trailer, no?
Thanks, great article.
Looks great...hoping it is. On my third attempt to read it, I finished it and it did great better as it went.
And I finally received the email I was waiting for :)
So I wonder if the first one third of the miniseries will be completely and horribly unwatchable.
