Movie premiers at the Bangor Mall Cinemas in Bagor, Maine. The first showing was for people who had won free tickets from King's radio station, WZON. The second showing was for movie extras, crewmembers, local dignitaries, and King's family and friends. King chose to attend the earlier viewing.
