i love fight club, i do, but this was the easiest choice ever. mcmurphy ftw.

What I like about these two characters being in the same poll is that, in a way, they had similar functions, both encouraging someone to be his own man. I went with McMurphy, of course. Never thought Durden was that special. Fight Club was a great flick though. I'd even say it was on par with One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. But two very different movies to be sure.

Nearly, though. (And I still say that Tyler Durden = one great character.)
