:rose:

We started as two,
Then the two became one.
The one became two again,
But were they done?
Not at all--for the two
Became four, do ye ken?
Then the four's turn to double,
Quadruple, and then
Right back to the one again
Did they return.
Then the one became none--
Tell me, what did you learn?

Ok, probably way off but these were the ideas that came to mind

We started as two, (gametes, sperm and egg)
Then the two became one. (zygote, initial fertilized egg)
The one became two again, (cell division)
But were they done?
Not at all--for the two
Became four, do ye ken? (more cell division)
Then the four's turn to double,
Quadruple, and then (more cell division)
Right back to the one again (single human body)
Did they return.
Then the one became none-- (death)
Tell me, what did you learn?

*shrugs*

:D

Care to take a look at my next one, then? It's (not necessarily harder--though I hope it is--but) more complex.
