Straight A's because this is one of my favorite non-DT books.

Absolutely. A's across the board. This is among King's finest, and the book I had to thank him for when I got to speak to him face to face. I love it even more since I spent nearly a decade working in a prison and can appreciate some parts of it even more. Excellent tale.

All As, of course. Cannot be anything less. A perfect book. I cried at the end, the only time ever.

Okay who's the joker that gave this book Cs?

I'd be interested to know their reasons as well. I know that some didn't like the serial distribution upon its original release, but I read it in one volume which was slightly edited to avoid repetition.

I bought and read the serial novels as they were released. I've never read it in any other format. I loved each installment as it was released and each time looked forward to the next one. I was never disappointed.

A's all around.

I have no specific reasons now... other than I found the story boring, and the characters of no interest to me whatsoever. The end (it took me four years, but I finally finished it) was rather touching, so it's a B, but the rest left me totally indifferent; I had to struggle through it; I think it would have made a good short story, though.

Did you like the movie any better? Have you seen it?

Did you like the movie any better? Have you seen it? I saw it, but the only reason why I found it better was that it was definitely shorter.

Hm, it wasn't that long of a book, really. I obviously thought it was the perfect length.
