Jon
01-27-2009, 12:08 AM
That crossed my mind but it seems out of order with the plane (fly?) as the first clue. The busted flue was second. I got "fly, flue... but no "one." I got the nest but all other things seemed so off.

I cannot take this feather. I guess I missed something and I bungled it to death.

Yeah, the busted chimney makes no sense, but I figured that had to be it because of the line and "the."

I was also playing around with "flying safely with the right nest egg" or something.

BROWNINGS CHILDE

It is one flew over the cuckoos nest.
The airplane is Airforce One. I know, its small. I messed with this pic for awhile, but I dont know how to resize pics.
The line is supposed to represent "over".

alinda

It is a scale then? elliptical scale-axis

As in :

Abstract
Experiments are carried out on the convection inside a novel alternating elliptical axis tube. The unified correlations of heat transfer and flow resistance for 500 < Re < 5 × 104 are obtained from the experimental results. The experiments show that the heat transfer can be greatly enhanced with less flow resistance increment compared with other enhanced elements. Analyses indicate that the mechanism for heat transfer enhancement is mainly due to the effect of the multi-longitudinal vortices induced by the cross-sectional change in the alternating elliptical axis tubes.

I fear that songs may get too obscure from a cultural and an age standpoint. God help us if an old timer starts in on The Kingston Trio. I'm not implying that some here may be old enough to remember The Kingston Trio {*cough* jea..bon..jon*cough*} I'm just saying...what if.

It IS referred to as the fairday goose. LOL :)

If anyone has time could you PM me instructions on how to post pictures. I tried and failed and can't figure out why.

I figured out what was wrong. The picture icon was already giving the URL a //http: and than the copy/paste was adding another so I had to go edit and delete one of the //http: on each of the pictures.

Pictures are up now. Have at it!

No Ma'am..."double" is correct though.

I meant to relaunch this thread with an easy one.

Someone prepare a new puzzle, claim the feather and I'll just give this one away..ok?
