C,C. I couldn't vote on the ending because I've never made it past 400, though I've given two valiant efforts.

A, A, B. Almost gave the ending a C, but it didn't seem right.

What didn't appeal to you about the ending? Just curious. There's no wrong answer.

I was very, very disappointed by the flying carriage with black horses. It made me giggle, and thus ruined the whole ending for me, like the disneyinsh stardust ruined the Green Mile movie.

Fair enough. So not necessarily the ending in and of itself but that specific feature of it? That was a pretty cheesy image. Nothing is as cheesy as that DisneyDust but I see what you mean. :)

That's why it was a B from me, not a C - the rest was totally satisfactory

In fact, I'm dying to start rereading it...

I'm due for a reread on it as well.

I felt when reading the ending that King never had an ending in mind, he got tired of writing the novel and put a bandaid on the end of the book. It was terrible

I was wondering if King finished this novel at christmas time. Because it seemed more like Santa Clause than a villain.
