OK, let's try this.

My very modest collection, in no particular order.

You will find a diverse grouping of books, indicative of my personality I'm sure.

We'll start with the SK and Joe Hill stuff, and if ya'll are interested, later I will post some of my Neil Gaiman and other comic related S/L things.

Hope you enjoy it.

These I purchased as a set from Hutch a couple years back.

(They look a lot better in person, my non-existent photography skills will be evident as we move forward.)

S/L Skeleton Crew #41

Purchased this beauty from Michael Pasuik this year.
Mike went out of his way to find the poster that goes with this edition and sent it to me a week or so later.
Definitely a class act.

...The Skeleton Crew S/L remains high on my wishlist.

Thank you Patrick.

Top 5 on my wish list would be the S/L of The Stand, The Regulators, Firestarter, Christine, and The Talisman (the 70 copy presentation state also signed by the artists)
All at the higher end of the King S/L price curve.

I may have scored one of the above today, let you know in a couple of days how it turned out...

And thank you herbertwest...

The slipcases from Overlook are WAY overpriced at $35 in my opinion.

But with the 10 or 20 percent off promotions Dave runs once in a while,
it is less painful.
Ordered one for JAS at 20% off tonight.
Plus the extra protection on Kings recent signed releases helps justify the cost.

Great pics.

Top of my wishlist is S/L Skeleton Crew, S/L Regulators, and S/L Christine. After those my wantlist goes up significantly in price....S/L The Stand, New LT's Rap, etc. For some reason, I can't seem to get all that excited about Six Stories. I came real close to buying one from Betts, but changed my mind.

While most of these can be had fairly easily, there always seems to be a significant difference in price between what a book will fetch in an open auction vs. what Abe and other small stores charge. I'm pretty patient and don't mind waiting.

Along with the S/L of Skeleton Crew, I would also put the Firestarter and Christine S/L's on my "realistic" wishlist. The Talisman edition signed by the artists would be sweet, but I'm satisfied enough with the S/L that I don't see upgrading further while there are so many other books out there.

Good luck on whichever one you may be moving from your wishlist to your "own list," Karl.

I think I need to watch for promotions because their slipcase prices are always the deal breaker for me.

I would say one reason I am so fond of the Six Stories is it was the first King S/L I ever purchased.
My wife had a fit and could not believe I spent $600 on a "book".

Yeah, that makes perfect sense. I think my wife has also considered me to be slightly insane, especially after getting the S/L Firestarter. I personally think I got a nice deal on it, but it's by far the most expensive book I've purchased to date.

Still a lot of work to be done...

Looks like I can take one thing off my want list.
Received the ship notification yesterday.

I bought a S/L Presentation Copy of The Talisman.
#17/70 signed by King, Straub and all the contributing artists.

1ST/1ST Grant Editions of The Dark Tower Series.
They are in the three Grant Dark Tower Slipcases.

The Gunslinger I bought for cover price when it was first released in a comic book store in Gainesville, Florida. Pure luck.

Wow!

Congrats on your presentation copy of THE TALISMAN. I look forward to seeing photos of it when it arrives. I'd love to see a photo of the signature page(s) especially, if you feel like taking one.
