Hey Friends, not sure if you saw this set. Originally it was posted in another thread. I got these from amazon.fr ( france ).

It's a slipcase of three volumes. They're pretty big and very colorful.

This is the whole set. In the center is the slipcase.

Same books and order, but showing the back of the books and slipcase.

Size comparision. That's the US Amazon Exclusive hardcover for LRH.

Another size comparision. They're even bigger than a CGC graded comic.

( this is kind of a double for me - yes that's a 9.9 CGC graded STAND comic )

And a very cool thing - what you're seeing are not bookcovers, but the actual cover of the books. The color is outstanding.

As I said. I love these!

Nothing sounds more sexy than reading DT comics out loud in French.

Oui, de french version. Oooo laaaa laaaa!

Matt - herbertwest posted the link as an FYI in another thread, after seeing the different cover on the slipcase. I jumped at it. I love some of the other "non-US" Dark Tower stuff people have, and really wanted to get this set, being a comic geek, and all.

The first three issues. In french.

Wrong
The french version is a wee bit.. weird.
Apparently the publisher decided to do not mention the "sagas" (the gunslinger born, the long road home, treachery)... but to call books "tome 1-2-3..." (which means volume/book 1-2-3..)

Each BOOK includes 2-3 episods of a saga.
The 7 Gunslinger born issues are published in the first 3 books, so in the slipcase set that you own :-)

I know it's complicated, but does that make sense???

To introduce each episod, there is always a full page illustration with the number of the episod (the illustration is corresponding to a US variant cover).
And the cover of the slipcase, which is a montage, havent been used somewhere else than in France. And i only recently discovered that the slipcase exists :)

Thank you for clarifying! It's hard for me to tell exactly what is going on, as you might imagine!
