I've read this quite a few times and I love it. I even thought the movie was awesome compared to the book.

I will have to reread it. I've only had the time to leaf through it quickly. Since I don't think I can get it that soon (don't have a copy of my own), will probably have to vote "Never read", if no miracle happens.

I believe you're thinking of Secret Window, Secret Garden from Four Past Midnight. I'm pretty sure this is a different book.

I gave it a 3, and happen to have an extra paperback copy if there is an interested party.....and an address ever! ;)

Guys, please, who voted wrong: can you tell that very clearly, in a post that would say something like "PLEASE REMOVE MY VOTE [specify what it was] or CHANGE IT FOR "NEVER READ". I'll be editing the poll accordingly, then.

I did read this Book Club only book. It was never released to the regular bookstores. You could only get it through a book club like The Stephen King Book Club. It was just an average book. It was a nice little thank you for the book club members, but On Writing was a better read. There was some exclusive material in it if I remember correctly though.

Well, most of it had never been collected in a King book. Look at the contents: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_Windows - very little of what's in it is a reprint, the biggest one being The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet, and a couple of introductions, from Night Shift and Four Past Midnight. And other than an excerpt from Danse Macabre, everything else was uncollected at the time.

This had the first printing of In The Deathroom, a story that had previously been available only on the audio book Blood and Smoke.

As with some people earlier in the thread you are confusing this book with the short story Secret Window, Secret Garden

I think it might be helpful to post another picture on this page. I almost made the same mistake. Either way, I don't think its going to advance very far.
