Another book I really enjoyed. It holds up pretty well on re-reads too.

This one was tough to get into but got good as you went along. Not King's best, but still a good read. 4.

I was so-so on it when I first read it years ago, but I recently reread it, and it's a definite 5 for me.

I wish I could give it more than a 5. :D
I've reread it many times, and each time....I love it just as much.

Just a 2 from me.

As with Pet Sematary and others that I have/will mark low, it's not so much a case of the story being poor - more because the subject matter was such that I was unable to enjoy it or relate to it.

A 5 times infinity.

This is probably my most favorite book of all time. That's right, of all time.

I give it a 4. I picked the book up in 9th grade from the high school library and found it great. The descriptions of Collie's face getting worse and worse really turned my stomach the first time I read the book. Also, the made-up language he had Tak and the hosts saying really rolled off the tongue quite nicely, which is more than I can say for some other fantasy books I've read.

I'm getting my own copy for Christmas, so a reread will soon be in order.:)

I just bought a new copy of this book--The Dark Half will always be my favorite King--but this one battles it strongly. I loved the characters and the story was truly terrifying...it goes from "Wow, this is scary because it could really happen" to "OMFG I AM SCARED TO DEATH BY DEMONIC POSESSION!" really quickly.

I gave this a 3. I remember reading when it first came out, and only liking it. I've had no desire to reread it since then--until sometime last week when I saw a copy of this and The Regulators at the library, wondered where my copies were, and thought, "Hmm, I should reread those two at some point."

giving only a slightly better 2, compared to regulators. I didnt hate it as much as I hated the regulators
