Wow. This was probably my favorite of the series! Maybe someone mean to vote "not read"??

Brice

I am just stunned. I wouldn't have guessed anyone didn't like it...even if it wasn't their favorite.

Well, don't look at me, I gave it a 4....

I feel nothing but pity for whoever gave it a 1....

I bet Aaron has a log of all the votes. It'll take him three seconds to track the rogue voter and destroy him :scared:

I think PsychoCrash can lend a hand with the destroying.

This book is the reason I decided to continue reading The Dark Tower. I give it a 5. (Gonna be giving a few of these to the Tower series.)

Gave it a 4. This is not my favorite DT book, but it was still a great read.

As for the Rogue voter.......

"Did a chick" "Dad a chum"???

Says the Lobstrocity as it bites off the fiendish voting fingers.

Yeah, good idea to make the person who didn't like this volume become like Roland, its protagonist.

Anyway, I felt the same way--it was my favorite when I read it, but that's because it was only the second volume.

It's good to see that low vote. It makes the poll much more exciting. :)

I just wonder if it's going to inspire more people to vote a 5 for it where they might not have before....

I have to agree, a definite 5. If not for this book I may not have finished the series. I'd give it a 10 if I could. :)

I think part of why so many of us loved this is that it introduced us to some great characters . . .

At least nobody has voted this as average. That would probably be even worse than saying they didn't like it.

Each new book hooked me further and further in, but this book after the struggle I had to finish Gunslinger saved the series for me. When I was waiting (as we ALL were) for SK to start again I would always return to this book to remind me. I UTTERLY LOVE IT!!!!!

Sorry got carried away

This one sucked me into the DT series. I still remember the excitement I felt when Roland found himself on the 'sky carriage'.

its one of my favorites in the series also...liked it when roland found susanna and the confusion of her split personalities...never knowing who she was going to be next...and if they could trust her when they needed her most.

Absolutely amazing creation. This book hooked me into the rest of the DT series and got me out of the temporary slough that I got from The Gunslinger's slow tempo. 5 hands down.

I wish I could say I was the one who voted "1" just to piss off everyone gushing over this book but all the Dark Tower series gets a "10" in my never-humble opinion.
