well hello there
my name is tamez
and yes that is my real name.
it rhymes with pez.

let's see
i was born in Austin Texas, but moved to St. Catharines Ontario
as a small child and grew up there.
I did not like the cold and still don't. I enjoy warm weather to this
day.
After going through school in Canada i decided to move down
here to San Antonio and have been loving it, especially the weather!
I love to go swimming.

I teach high school English and have been teaching
at the school for eleven years... been posting
to some form of this community for over five years though :couple:
I love the Dark Tower, I love everyone here and i'm so glad
that this wonderful group of friends is still around
for me to enjoy.

Since summer ended i've been having terrible trouble
wearing SHOES again. today is one of the first days
i've had to wear them (i've been sneaking flip flops at work
for the last two and a half months)
and i'm really not liking the feeling at all.

can we ammend this later?

all my grades are due tomorrow at noon :panic::panic:
i should have checked this yesterday
so i could have used Sunday night to write more in here.

other random things about me:

I like rap/hip hop, I like techno music (mostly the German trance sound
ie Paul Van Dyke, Tiesto...) I really like reggae music a lot
(mostly dance hall but some roots) in the olden days i liked rock
so i still listen to those classics from the nineties
my fave. rock goups would be Dinosaur Jr and Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.

I really wish I had gone to Vegas
i was so envious looking at the pics.
from that crew i have met Matt, Dave, Dora and Hannah :huglove:
