Okay...

1) SPAM thread in Facilitator's forum will not mark as read, even if I specifically tell it to.

2) When I try to post, an error message comes up and says "the following errors occurred with your post" but doesn't list anything. If I click "okay" the post goes in.

3) When the post goes in, it hops upthread two or three posts, and the time is off by about 3 1/2 - 4 hours. The time in my user CP is correct.

4) My sig pic is gone, even though I can see it in my user profile.

ETA: Just checked the gallery, and it says it can't access it, which may be why I can't see my sig pic - that's where I uploaded it.

The problem with the posts was because we uploaded old information over new and times got screwed--should be fixed now. Even though some may show weird during that moment.

Yep, another database thing.

Here's what happened. They created a copy of our databases...palaver_forum and palaver_gallery and uploaded it to the dedicated server on Friday.

Obviously a lot has been done inbetween. I got them to refresh the data upload for the forums and I'm now having them do it for the gallery.

Should be fine in a minute.

okay, i've unsubscribed from my threads (all 154 of them and yes it is a multiple of 7 :) ) and all my forums. i resubscribed (which cut down on a lot of threads so thanks for that matt!) but it's still not working even though in my unread posts i see that the threads have new items in them.

any other suggestions.

oh, and i'm set for immediate update on the individual threads and daily updates on the forums.

I'm having the same problem as Turtlesong. I'm getting no notification of my subscribed threads, and I've resubscribed. Also, I checked my spam folder and they weren't there. Don't want you to think I'm complaining, Matt, just letting you know about the problem. I know how busy you are, and I want you to know I appreciate all the work you do for us! outlook (not express since *someone* here told me to upgrade :) ). and it's not in my junk folder. this site has it's own filter so everything is automatically marked as good email and filtered into its own folder (cause i :wub: you).

can you pm me the ip address and i'll check with my isp and make sure it's not being blocked on their end for some reason? that happens sometimes.

I'm in the "slow" mode as well. Both here and at work. The transition between pages or threads can be 5-25 seconds. It just hangs up with a black page.

I thought it might be because I switched to the 3.7 skin, but it's the same when I went back to default.

Matt, have you noticed that on dtbay, the number of auctions is incorrect? Right now, there are three book auctions, but the counter on the previous pages shows a -1.

I am waiting until there are no auctions running so I can uninstall and re install the product. I hate to do it as it will reset the entire thing but its the only way to fix it.

It's a random database error for me.

Random problems all over the site you guys. The sad thing is that in a lot of cases this is caused by server maintenance do by our host that they don't inform me of.

Please keep reporting the outages though, I am keeping a journal.
