Today I learned that a horseshoe crab is not a crab at all--but some creepy prehistoric water-tick/spider-thing/sea-scorpion :scared:

I learned this because I took a walk on the beach today and one had washd up & being that I am from the West Coast (where we don't get stung by jellyfish or see strange tick-crab-strosities) I had no idea what it was other than CREEE-EE-EEPY! So I took some photos and did a google search. Found out I was right. They are freakin' creepy!
