This sucks,

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Actress Shelley Duvall has revealed her struggles with mental illness in an interview with "Dr. Phil."

Duvall is best known for her turns in the horror movie classic, "The Shining," and for playing Olive Oyl opposite Robin Williams' "Popeye" in the 1980 film version of the comic strip.

In a preview of Duvall's interview with Phil McGraw, the 67-yearold Duvall claims Williams, who died in 2014, is alive and "shape shifting." She also tells McGraw that she is "very sick" and needs help.

The show's website says Duvall has been living "a life of near isolation."

The interview is set to air Friday.

I hope she gets the help she needs. Her work in Robert Altman's films is just amazing.

I was reading the very same today! Such a shame. I dare say the mental pressure pit on her during filming The Shining didn't help her any...

Kubrick’s daughter calls for boycott of Shelley Duvall interview (http://pagesix.com/2016/11/17/kubricks-daughter-calls-for-boycott-of-shelley-duvall-interview/)

" You are putting Shelley Duvall ‘on show’ while she is suffering from a pitiable state of ill health. Unquestionably, this is purely a form of lurid and exploitive entertainment — it’s appallingly cruel.

Shelley Duvall was a movie star … whatever dignity a mere unfortunate creature might have in this world, is denied by your displaying her in this way.

I recoil in complete disgust. I hope others will join me in boycotting your utterly heartless form of entertainment, because it has nothing to do with compassionate healing.

Sincerely disgusted, Vivian"

Yet another The Shining theory. Listen to Abbey Road three times while watching The Shining backwards and forwards at the same time or the "mirrorform" version. The video maker calls it "Redrum Road". There is literally hours of analysis that goes beyond Abbey Road to Hercules, to the Fibonacci sequence to so much more. This video is just the introduction. Simply incredible how analyzed this film has been...

All is a bit hard to swallow but certain moments of analysis do make one go hmmmmmmm.

The first two parts in what looks to be a fascinating dissection of light used in the film. Five parts in all planned.
