Did anyone notice the glowing orbs that are in Southland Tales? If so, did you think that maybe they were an inside nod to Maerlyn's Rainbow? Given Richard Kelly's appreciation of King, I was just hoping.

I wonder if King was influenced by those seeing-eye balls in Lord of the Rings - the Pallantirs?
