In conjunction with our Haven Foundation Charity Fundraiser we’re also holding a giveaway. The giveaway winners will be drawn May 17th – May 18th and the winners will be announced on May 19 – our site’s one year anniversary. There are several ways you can participate to get your name entered into the drawing.

How to get an entry to the giveaway:
1 Entry for Each $10.00 donation
1 Entry for each item donated to the giveaway or auction
1 Entry for each item bought at auction
1 Entry for each item purchased at the darktower.com store
1 Entry for contest winnersEligibility for entries to the giveaway will cut off at 8PM EST May 17th 2008.

If you are interested in donating an item please contact Matt or Hannah.

For those of you who have already donated money, items, or purchased from the shop all giveaway entries will be retroactive. If you choose to donate but do not want to be entered into the giveaway, please let us know. Giveaway entries can be transferred to another member or purchased for another member. If you know you have donated or purchased something from the shop please PM Hannah with your full name and address so she can add you to the list.

Prizes for the giveaway will be announced when we have an official list. We are working night and day to get prizes for the giveaway – and we already have some pretty amazing stuff. :rock:

I should also add that all kinds of donations are wanted. It doesn't have to be a collectible book. A King movie DVD, for example. A few King paperbacks. Art you've created ... etc. :D

We are in the process of getting that information out to folks CR--its basically one entry for every 10 bucks but we'll send you guys out a notification when we get things together.

Yes, there is - you can PM me. We're keeping track of all the different entries - and I'm in charge of updating entries (with a lot of help from Matt).

edit: oops, replied before I saw Matt's post. We're tracking everything right now - and all cleared donations are up to date with the entries. I'll figure something out with Matt and I'll send out PMs sometime soon asking for addresses and with information on how many entries each person has.

One of the cool things about them that people don't know is you can start them playing, then hit pause--the video will keep uploading (has its own little colored progress bar).

So you can walk away, clean the kitchen, then come back an hour later and its ready to watch without interruptions. :lol:
