Yep I voted for the underdog. Scream needed at least one vote.

Me too. Scream is one of my all-time favorite movies. I'm bummed it had to go up against Shawshank.

Shawshank. Not even close.

I haven't seen Shawshank, but Scream is one of my all-time favorites. Yikes. Vote for Scream...or sit out to be fair? :orely:

I haven't seen Shawshank

How? How is that possible?

Vote for Scream. It won't matter because Shawshank is going to win. But I do highly recommend you watch Shawshank. It really is a great film.

I haven't read the novella yet, so I guess that's why.

Scream just to be a dick. I'm afraid this whole process will be a waste when it's Shawshank vs. Green Mile for the title.

I'm very happy Scream has at least 5 votes. I would have been super sad if it got none.

Shawshank is good enough to win the whole thing without the "King bias" y'all keep talking about. It sits as IMDB's top rated movie. People like my dad who have never read a King book love that movie.

It is definitely a worthy contender.

I won't be surprised if it wins the whole thing.

I didn't think so at the outset but it's looking more and more likely.

It won't be a bad thing if it does win - it's a spectacular film!

You really should. There are a couple of slight differences from the film that add to the story IMO.

You all missed my point. I have no problem if Shawshank wins. My problem will be if it's in the finals with The Green Mile. Nobody here should be cool with that.

I really wish Scream had more votes, but I guess it's not surprising since it's up against Shawshank. Wish it had gotten grouped with a different film this round.

It’s actually doing better than I thought it would.

Well posting this on the Shawshank poll instead of the Green Mile one and saying you voted against Shawshank probably lead to that confusion. But I got your main point.

I suppose, but I think it's universally known by now that Shawshank Redemption is a quality film regardless of one's Stephen King fandom.
