Leaving Las Vegas in last place is just wrong. It’s the best movie of 1995!

Gotta go with Truman. I just love that movie. Carey's best performance.

The Truman Show, of course.

I'm surprised The Truman Show is getting so much more love than Ace Ventura. I'm a huge fan of Jim Carey but I've always thought physical comedy was much more his forte. More like Ace Ventura, Liar Liar or Bruce Almighty. I'd put any one of those over The Truman Show.

The first Ace Ventura is built on making fun or a trans person and that's not funny. I much prefer the sequel. And it's just funnier overall. The rhino scene is an all-time classic.

The thing with opinions (and assholes, but not penises) - everyone has their own.

Ace makes fun of everyone, it's kinda the central conceit to his character - he feels a stronger kinship with animals than with humans.

But the trans person is treated with disgust. Maybe I'm misremembering, I haven't seen it in ages.

I mean she did murder a guy and kidnapped a dolphin.

That's not the reason for Ace throwing up though.

Truman Show is not the more funny film it is just the better film. Honestly, I like most Carey comedies except for Ace Ventura.
