HOW IS SPEED BEATING PULP FICTION

I've never actually seen Pulp Fiction so I couldn't vote for it. I've seen parts of it, I know the basic premise of the story but I've never actually sat down and watched it start to finish.

I also understand it's one of those movies that you have to watch a few times to really get it.

hmmm. I voted Speed, but not PF. I believe there are quite a few people who can't stand Tarantino (sorry Heather :rose:), while I don't think there's much not to like about Speed

Probably, but then you have to be interested enough by the first watch to force yourself to watch again.

I just tied it up. But I will say that action films have been getting tons of love in the polls so far, so can't say I'm surprised.

...you have be interested enough by the first watch to force yourself to watch again.

I couldn't even make it through Pulp Fiction one time (I find the title unintentionally ironic).

I agree. I cannot stand behind all his movies. I don't 'love' any of them. some are ok..

I looked QT up on IMDB and apparently I haven't seen much of his work at all.

While I hated Pulp Fiction, I liked Natural Born Killers and could tolerate Inglourious Basterds.

Check out Reservoir Dogs. And Kill Bill is my personal favorite.

Try Jackie Brown. Its Tarantino but not at his full Tarantino.

It and part 2 of Kill Bill are my favorite Tarantino movies. I do like Pulp Fiction a lot though.

A lot of people don't like Tarantino now that he's really popular. That always seems to happen. His films have gotten overhyped for many.

He's a fantastic director. Plan and simply.

I don't dislike him. I'm just not a huge fan of a lot of his movies other than Kill Bill 1 & 2.

Reservoir Dogs was ok and Django Unchained was pretty good. The rest I've either never seen or have only seen parts of. The Hateful Eight and Pulp Fiction are on my list to watch eventually, but I'm in no hurry.

I must have blocked it out of my memory, because I can't stand to imagine that possibility. Is it every Tarantino film?

Really surprised at how well Tremors is doing.
