During the first round of The Great Movie Tournament, please vote for up to six films you would like to move onto the next round. The top six films will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given film receives will determine its standing going forward.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

Well, I know some people will criticize this, but, is there a way to vote for none of the above. Sure there are a couple of movies here that are borderline for me, but I don't want to vote for something just so my vote will count.

Yes. It's called not voting.

But as has been pointed out, there is a difference. Not voting does not effect the percentages for the next seeding.

Wait until the poll is about to close and then vote for the film in last place that will be eliminated anyway. That way, you won't be voting for any of the other films going through but you will affect their percentages going forward. :smile:

Taking T-Dogz's advise, I "voted" for Shakespeare in love, since looks likely to be eliminated.

Singles in dead last with a bullet, wow. I'd thought that a mainstream film like that would at least have a chance. I guess people saw it and didn't much like what they saw.

No big tragedy - it was no Jacob's Ladder or Arlington Road - but a decent, amusing, interesting movie.
