Man, usually I know right away who to pick, but I have to think about this one. :)

Boehmke was (my) obvious first choice but Heathers use of shading with a pencil won me over. I like Matts map drawing composited over a wood table and R of G's image looks straight out of my favorite medium, comics! Great job all!
I really had to think about this one as well.
These contest are wonderful!

I had to go with Heather's. Something about the tail slithering off into the canyon...it has that psychological freak-out quality.
All the entries are awesome, IMHO. :)
ETA: I think R_of_G has captured what it must be like to be in a thinny, though. If you stare at it long enough you get lost.

They are all great, much better than I could do, but Matt's got my vote, because it resembles a map that I would think Roland would have been carrying at the time.

i voted for boehmke, though deciding between that and heather's was a VERY difficult decision. like i said earlier i also really like matt's because it's honest and like storyslinger pointed out, it does look like a map roland or someone from his world would have
*SQUEE*
Can't believe I'm getting a vote with that thing. Its so cool that you guys can see what I was trying my best to achieve.
I'm not sure Dora will be voting for it though.

They were all very good and well done. I voted for matts because of Roland mayhap carried one just like it.
You guys are all way too kind.

How long do we have to vote? There are some excellent interpretations here. I need to ponder further.

Congrats, broham! It is a sick ass illustation (as always). :)
The contests are hard to vote on. And there's something so creepy about Heather's version. that little thinny arm peeking around the corner. awesome.

Hey thanks everyone! I'm glad to have an outlet for my Tower art. I'm happy to be apart of it even in my own silly way.
