It looks great. I’m still in awe of your newest Gunslinger.

I don't drink (alcohol), so Bela Lugosi and I have something in common. But I needs to know, what is the significance of that bottle of booze?

Nice collection, and congrats on the 1984 'slinger!

(That edition is still on my to-get list, and finding a nice one is challenging!)

Looking forward to seeing that when it’s framed. All these art additions lately have me searching for something to hang above my bookshelves.

ur2ndbiggestfan

That is a mighty fine piece of art.

Once you acquire enough books, there is no space left to hang art, or at least not as much as you would like too.

Not sure what happened to my original link but this is my humble but treasured set. Two books short of a sealed DT set. Not sure I'll ever see a Gunslinger 1st sealed in my collection. So much more appealing without the shrink wrap.https://i.imgur.com/qYhGSbO.jpg

Stephen King, eh? I'll have to give him a try.

TnTzDad

Thanks all! As for removing them from the shrink wrap, that has been a long-standing debate. I acquired most of the recently in this condition so it stands to be said that if they were affected, the damage has long since been done. Waste Lands has been in this state since 1991. I don't think removing the wrap now would make any difference. IMHO...

Some new adds and finally framed print. The custom leather Dark Tower books are from eBay. I've gotta say that the detail and simple originality make it worth it. Not all agree, and that's okay. If I collected for everyone else I'd be broke and unhappy. :rolleyes3:

Waa a little nervous about them but would love to see detailed pics if you get a chance. You can PM me if they are too ugly for everyone else. What editions did they work with? Anything you wish they would have done differently?

Don't ask about the editions. Lol These are the 2016 PB set and most are in the upper teens. I'll take some closer pics and post them this weekend. The detail in the woodwork is quite nice and I'm partial to the significant quotes on the back of each book. Just know that if you buy from him, there is a delay. He only crafts what he sells, and it's something he said he would note in the auction. After much back and forth, he offered this: If you feel so inclined, you can share coupon code RKIXWZX. It will give 10% off the Dark Tower set when ordered from my website ComputerAidedCrafting.com." He did take an offer on eBay, but I bet he would go even lower withouth eBay fees.

Oh, and it is real leather. There's no denying that smell. The only drawback is that the wood could use some staining. Aside from that, it's a very unique Dark Tower compliment.

If you delete pics from any hosting site, then the pics are gone and the links are broken, and thus the pic will no longer appear here (or anywhere else you posted the pic).

I crazy curious as to "why" ebay? Are the fees worth it?

I thought long and hard about the decision, both to part with them and where. As for why, it came after a change in how I see things after losing my father. I've already sold most all of my 1sts / AE's, with some extras on eBay right now. RF already posted about them on the Intruiging section.

Why eBay? After all is said and done for media sales and Paypal fee it's 15%. Betts consignment is 15%. The real difference is that I want to offer these in a manner that offers everyone the chance, to let the people decide what they're worth.

Best of luck to all interested!
