A good book. I just don't see it as an A+ book. I don't understand the scores. I gave it B and a C for character development. Overdeveloped.

I would have given it Bs and even have made one of them a C if we graded from A to Z or at least to Q

I respectfully disagree. The well developed characters (including the town) make the story believable and relatable. SK struck a perfect balance between his portrayal of the flawed people of Jerusalem's Lot and the mounting horror they were ignorantly facing. A slow burn of a novel that takes flight and delivers a satisfying conclusion.
