Apparently I've only read this collection once because I have very little recollection of any of the stories. When I looked at the list of titles, I only remembered one or two right away. Going through the Wiki entries for each story helped quite a bit.

Some of my all-time favorite shorts are in here, like Premium Harmony.

Solid collection. Much better than JAS and Four Past Midnight.

Maybe 3.5. Honestly don’t remember many of the stories clearly, but Mike 81, The Dune, The Bad Kid and of course Ur stand out.

Ur was good (corny ending, but anyway). As for Mile 81 and The Bad Kid, I've read something like this many times before. Loved TBK, though, because bears are partial to stories about evil children. But some other stories, like Morality, are sooooo really substandard, I don't know what I would have given the collection if I had been in time for voting

Yes I understand Bears. I am partial to Pandemic stories. This might explain my love for The Stand.

I think your love for The Stand is best explained by its unparalleled awesomeness regarding characters, storytelling, and everything else there is to it
