I enjoyed this book much more than I enjoyed a lot of the DT. It was a fun story and gave a little background.

3. The very definition of unnecessary. Maybe King wanted to buy another house without dipping into his bank account?

A fun yarn but kinda heartless.

I liked it. It was slight but it was an improvement over the last two books in the series.

2.5. If it had been from another author and was a stand alone novel, it would have gotten a 1.

I feel just the opposite: if it had been from another author, bears would have said, "oh, what an imaginative piece" and given it something above 2.5. But for SK and on the background of other TDT books it's really really disappointing
