Another seemingly under-appreciated novel. One of the quicker reads I've ever had, I think.

I nearly made this comment on the Carrie thread, but as it has been mentioned again here..

Personally I am scoring based on where in a range of 1 - 5 I feel a book is COMPARED to all the other SK books. This is the only way that makes sense to me as otherwise everything would be a 4 or a 5 as I (like most) are a big fan of ALL SK's works. So my though process is not how much did I like this book on a scale of 1 -5 but how would I rank it against my absolute favourites. So for me a '1' doesnt make it a book I dislike but one that is in the last 20% of all books by my ranking. In my mind, the scoring is more like 4.5 to 5.0 in .1 increments (if that makes sense :unsure:)

Can't believe 8 voters haven't read this. If I remember correctly, the movie was pretty faithful to the book. Definitely in my top 10.
