I actually came on here to discuss this book. I love Apt Pupil so much. It is honestly my favorite of King's work, tied with IT.

The Breathing Method is probably one of my favorite stories ever. The club with it's books and doors from other dimensions is just so subtle and cool. It's a place I wish were real.
The stories that are hinted at or at least summarized are great. His head wouldn't die! Lady stuck on the porta-potty! It's a cool side Dark Tower story.
Plus Frank Muller's reading of it is a piece of art.

Re-reading this one for the first time in many years. This is a great book. "Apt Pupil" is a very chilling story. Highlighting the kind of soulless cruelty that we see all too often these days.
