For the tiebreaker poll, please choose one to move on to the next round.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do watch each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a movie scene well, it's still worth watching for a refresher.

Please remember that his tournament is for Best Scene, not Best Movie.
It's important to therefore judge each nomination on its individual merits and NOT by the entire movie.

The poll will run for four days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

IMPORTANT! In the event of a further tie, the number of "stated votes" within the thread will determine the winner.

The nominees are:

The reveal - The Sixth Sense (1999) *** WARNING: MAJOR SPOILER ***

Dawn helicopter attack - Apocalypse Now (1979)

Let's be clear on something - Schindler's List is the only choice here!

Steeped in symbolism, the iconic scene featuring the girl in red is the most powerful and moving image in Spielberg's epic Holocaust movie. Its impact was so spectacular, the entire movie was selected for preservation by the Library of Congress for being "culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant". This scene HAS to move on!!:clap::clap:

"The Holocaust was life without light. For me the symbol of life is color. That's why a film about the Holocaust has to be in black-and-white."
- Steven Spielberg

I am on the fence... it is that or Sixth sense... I had to go with what shocked me most.

Can't disagree with any of this, and Schindler's List is one of my all time favorites

BUT

since we're going by scene here, the Sixth Sense reveal elicited a much more powerful reaction from me. I mean, that scene is the embodiment of a Twist.
