We can actually have a Prince/MJ final here, two of the biggest pop artists of that era, but you cannot go against Phil here. What a tremendously amazing song.

While I love Purple Rain, I had to vote for In the Air Tonight because of the drums. Iconic hardly covers it.

Yeah. I've heard it close to a billion times probably but each time those drums start booming I get goosebumps.
