View Full Version : Great Music - Playoffs Round 1: 1965-1969 (Bracket 1 of 8)
For this playoffs poll, please choose one track to move on to the next round.
IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.
The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!
The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

Unfortunately, the older video for "Come Together" was taken down and all I could find as replacement was somebody playing it in Rock Band. Sounds like the original, but there are game noises here and there, not too bad.

Hmmm, one of the best songs the Rolling Stones ever did with an intriguing insight into human nature and a great tune; vs. a ridiculous, nonsensical pile of LSD-inspired Beatles gobbledy-gook.
One of the easiest calls of the day.
The Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil (1968)

The poll has closed. "Sympathy for the Devil" will face Simon and Garfunkel - Mrs. Robinson (1968) in the second round.
