During the first round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to five tracks you would like to move onto the next round. The top five tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

"Anesthetize" is one of the most epic songs ever produced. I've listened to it countless times and still find new things about it. Perfection!

And "Anesthetize" is still last? What crazy world do we live in? :panic:

I guess ABBA knows that Madonna's song Madonna - Hung Up (2005) basically just puts different lyrics to Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight). It's the exact same music. I guess she must have purchased the rights; otherwise, it's the most blatant piece of musical plagiarism I've ever heard.

Sad "Hearing Damage" didn't get more love. It's the best thing to come out of all that Twilight crap.

I'm astounded "Anesthetize" got the boot too. That song is Pink Floyd-level genius.
