I've always liked how King often makes references to his other works in his stories. I think there's already a thread somewhere to discuss all the Dark Tower connections, but I thought we should have a place to share all the other connections we come across while reading King's stories.
I've been reading The Tommyknockers and I came across a passage where Johnny Smith from The Dead Zone was mentioned.
Also, one of the best I've ever come across was where King actually referenced (mocked) himself in the story. "She wrote good stories - not all full of make-believe monsters and a bunch of dirty words like the ones that fellow up in Bangor wrote."
Reading that one made me laugh out loud at the time. :)
