TheDarkTower.org (http://www.thedarktower.org/)is proud to be the site to auction this new, unique and fine Collectible item.
For your consideration is a US First Edition, First Printing of Stephen King's Full Dark, No Stars. The book has been extensively remarqued by the renowned artist Rachel Readman. She has produced 4 stunning images - one for each of the 4 Stories.
Thanks to member StroppyGoblin for donating the book and to Rachel Readman for once again generously contributing her time and talent to the Haven Fund.
NOTE: The book has what appears to be a small manufacturing flaw in the form of a crease to one corner. In addition the dust jacket has a minor tear and small amounts of shelf wear. The book is tight and unread. Please review all pictures before bidding.

Once again I had the privilege of suggesting the scenes for Rachel to work her magic on and once again She doesn't disappoint. I love them all, but the illustration for 1922 is simply amazing! I hope it does well for the HF.

Also, teaser alert, but Rachel has another HF item up her sleeve, very different to anything she has done before and adds another medium to her very broad range of artistic skills - I'll let you know when it's ready.....

They all look fantastic, especially 1922, like others mentioned. I'm not familiar with Ms. Readman, what other work has she done?

Although Rachel has not done any 'official' art for any SK works (yet...), she has produced some amazing remarques in HF books as well as individual pieces of art based on SK subject matter. Rachel also makes sculptures many of which have pride of place on Big name collectors shelves (One was actually presented to SK a few years back). For more info see her thread here (http://www.thedarktower.org/palaver/showthread.php?11647-Artist-Rachel-Readman&highlight=rachel+readman)

Oh and my avatar shows a portion of her work too :)

Pity about the flawed corner and worn DJ.

Pity about the flawed corner and worn DJ.

Yes and I take full responsibility for that. The book I sent Rachel was wrapped in plastic and I had never removed it to check (see - always unwrap your books folks). So the flaw on the corner wasn't noticed. Fortunately this book is easily obtained for quite low money and one with a fine DJ would be very easy to get.

I think the art outweighs any minor flaws and I hope to win it back!

That first remarque though... man...

Don't rub it in :( at least I had it in my possession for a short time and got to see Rachel's work in the flesh (so to speak..)

At least it went to a deserving member here (damn you!!!)
