One of the few groupings I've voted for the full allotment of 6 movies.

48 Hrs.
Blazing Saddles
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
There's Something About Mary
Hot Shots!

I dig South Park, but the movie wasn't as hilarious as the series can be, so no vote from me. Blazing Saddles, Hot Shots, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Ferris Bueller's Day Off definitely got my votes though.

Five for me: The Grand Budapest Hotel, Blazing Saddles, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and There's Something About Mary.

I'm sad that the genius of South Park BL&U is not being recognized.

Grand Budapest is not a LOL style comedy but it's full of beautiful, tender moments that elicit a laugh on their own.

Also voted for Hot Shots, There's Something About Mary.

So you've been voting for the movies I nominated again. LOL! :nana:

I thought you said I had an "incomprehensible taste in movies"?

I likely misspoke. It's not so much your taste in comedies (or even movies, perhaps) but more of your entire body of work over the last year or so and the way you present your opinions.

Only one (partially) animated film should move on, and that's Roger Rabbit. So we need more votes here for The Grand Budapest Hotel, 48 Hrs, and Big!

I'm surprised that Something About Mary is leading. I thought it was ok but not great. Also surprised that Hot Shots! is going so poorly.

I first saw Mary when it came out in the theaters and it was one of the funniest experiences of my life, at least up to that point. The bathroom scene is painfully funny.

That is why it is leading. You expected otherwise?

You gotta stop saying stuff like that, pablo. Every time you do, people start to vote the other way. :P

Yes because there are at least 4 other movies that I think are better. Ok but not great = 5th or 6th place.

I can totally understand how someone would not like South Park but I will say this about the film. When I saw it in the theater, EVERYONE was laughing, I've never been to movie before or since that had the whole auditorium laughing as much as that one.

I've watched the South Park movie multiple times with people who aren't fans of the show and they all laugh the whole time. It's a surprisingly accessible film.

Ok, so sad for GBH, as well as Big and Harvey, but now one more 48 Hours vote, please, to get it over with -- Hot Shots! Part Deux is sure to get through in Group T, and we don't really need both to compete in Round 2, do we?
