For as long as I can remember since I start collecting, I saw almost 1001 different items King related. From T-shirts to hats, from posters to bookmarks, comics, promotional pens, even dog tags and big pink die promoting From a Buick 8.
But I saw very very little figures King related. Some belong to Creepshow (really cool...but really expensive...125 dollars each figure if I'm not wrong), a vampire from Salem's Lot, the Christine car. All made by small companies or just a private artist. All pretty expensive.

I never understood why McFarlanne didn't release a SK Series. I think that Pennywise, Jack Torrance, Gage Creed, even one of the Children of the corn would be an excellent figure.

I almost lost my hopes...until The Dark Tower comic was announced and released.
Are you aware that if the comic continues to be a success, there are BIG chances that Roland, Alain, Cuthbert, Susan, Cort, Steven Deschain, the big coffin hunters, Walter, the Crimson King and many others could be produced by McFarland for example?

Wouldn't that be awesome? (and dangerous for our pockets?)

I really hope this happens :)

I hope so too! A McFarlane version of Roland would be too awesome!

If you could own any action figure based off The Dark Tower series, who would you choose? I'd probably pick Crimson King or Randall Flagg...

I'd love action figures of Oy, David, and the mechanical friends of Shardik and maybe even Rhea's pets (lol)... and Sheemie.

As for the human characters, I'd rather have bronze statues of them. Roland (obviously), all of the Guardians, Cuthbert, Alain, Susan, Cort, and possibly replications of Gunslinger guns.

Marvel makes some very nice bronze and faux bronze statues of other characters, so I'd buy any and all they made of Dark Tower characters.

Before we get to the figure himself lets take a little bit about the legend surrounding CB. According to who you talk to either Stephen King or his son, Owen (a big time GI Joe fan) created Crystal Ball and wrote his file card, I’m not sure how true this is and information is spotty at best but given that the Joe character Sneak Peek was named after Owen King, and the file card mentioning Bangor, Maine, it seems pretty likely that this is the case.

The Stephen King action figure was a commission from a big fan, and Leavitt describes the experience as “an honor and pleasure to acquiesce to such a request.” If you’re a bookworm and can spot all 5 references to King stories in the piece, Leavitt will send you a pack of stickers. Go to his site (http://intuitionkitchenproductions.com/shows/?p=62), and email him your best guesses.

These are mostly images found on the 'net of custom pieces that model builders created. I did not mean to imply that these are all my personal pieces.

Funko's doing one of those "Mystery Minis" for horror characters and as you can see Pennywise is there.

Of course given the nature of the line you'd have to either take your chances or buy him off the secondary market.

Well...it took me almost six months to sculpt the original, and a couple of weeks to do the first copies, paint them, finish them, weight them, find out shipping costs...etc.

Anyway, I'm finally ready to put for sale my sculpted Pennywise busts. :)

http://www.restaurantdelamente.com/stephen-king/img/p/1542-3527-thickbox.jpg

http://www.restaurantdelamente.com/stephen-king/img/p/1540-3524-thickbox.jpg

Made in resin and manually painted, these weight 1.75 kg aprox. Height: 17/18 cm. There are three models available: Bronze, Stone and Painted. Each is limited to 33 copies only.

Bronce/Stone: U$S 55
Painted: U$S 75.

Shipping and handling sadly is not cheap. It costs U$S 50 for each, U$S 83 for two and U$S 105 for three busts.

It takes me 30 days to get a copy done, paint it, finish all the details and ship it. It takes more or less two more weeks to arrive to America/USA/Europe, and three weeks to Oceania, Asia, Africa.

I can only accept Paypal.

Of course, don't hesitate to PM if you have any inquires.

Thanks!

I got my Simpson's figure in the mail yesterday from Amazon, purchased for $11.99 with free shipping. Decided I want to buy a second one to keep one open and one in the packaging, but now I can't find it available anywhere! It isn't even listed on Amazon as "out of stock" anymore... seems a little odd. Anyone else get theirs yet, or know where you can still get one?

Clark Toys has them for $19.99

For whatever reason, they are still "preorder".

The worse case scenario is they have to refund you. I'd say give it a go.

The french amazon didnt even have it available. I dont know any french distributor thatseem to have it.
Btw, dummy question, but shouldnt the thread be called "figurines" instead of figures?
It could be either way.

1) Action Figures: These are toy (dolls) action figures like GI Joe, Spiderman, Superman, Barbie, Wonder Woman, etc, usually made of soft plastic and lifelike. There was a big ta-doo about calling them dolls since boys aren't supposed to play with them (who wrote that rule?) So action figures are given to guys (& dolls in more tolerant families!) and dolls are dolls for girls!
2) Figurines: Figurines are generally made out of fine bone china or porcelain, often hand painted, and are collectibles in all genres: angels, bells, horses, dogs, ballerinas, wind mills, tea cups, cats, mice, pigs, etc.

The $13.99 site won't take an order.
The Clark site lets you pre-order and "pay" via Paypal, but the Paypal email says:

You authorized a transaction to JT Clark Co. LLC. Money won't leave your account until JT Clark Co. LLC processes your order.

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has any leads on King-related figurines/statues/collectibles to adorn empty spaces on the bookshelf? My research indicates that there's a limited amount of this stuff, and most is custom. Either way, I'd love to see some items if folks have links handy!

Also, what's on your shelves besides books, as far as these items are concerned?

Alex McVey makes an Oy statue that is nice. He also made a couple ornament like items (angry Oy and Pennywise). I can't remember the artist but I have a small statue of Cujo. I don't have any, but there are Carrie figures available on Amazon.

Love the Carrie figurines, Dan! Thanks for the lead on these. Definitely going to order a pair!http://www.figures.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=52092&d=1354729863

I'll have to scope out the McVey Oy statue, as Oy's my second-favorite SK character.
