I hope I was gentle.
It felt really good. I love that image  Now that we have something going for the home page, we can get an idea of what the rest of the site will look like.

Pfft... you're in the dark ages. I've had this painting my desktop at work for like years now.
I absolutely love it. I would hang that on my wall.
I love the figure standing in the background. :)
Me too. I think that one image pretty much sums up the series in a lot of ways.
It should be the background for our book connections page or something when it is built.

So....is this thread for artwork you yourself have done or is it also for artwork that you own and have hanging in your office/home/etc.? I ask 'cause I own 3 pieces of original Michael Whelan art from DT VII and several Jae Lee pieces from Gunslinger Born that I could post pics of...unless they are better slotted in the Collections thread.

Yes, please clarify:
For only original artwork created by the poster?
For any artwork-but must be King/Tower related?
For any and all artwork one created, owns, like, envies etc?
TIA,
Jerome
Hmmm...great question. I think the idea for the forum was just fan art.
If its collectible art about the series then I would say the collectors forum.
If it is just your standard "anything" type artwork, perhaps we could do a subforum

Patrick has started a thread in Calvins Corner for Tower/King books original art, quality prints and photos, so this is for member original art.

 I started those threads before I knew this conversation was happening here.
Yes, original fan art goes in this forum.
We can have separate threads by topic (e.g. DT vs. non-DT) or by artist. Whatever you all want to do with it. :)
Dave, that painting is awesome!

Are those supposed to be Eyes of the Crimson King in the sand?

I can see a rabbit, a fish, the moon, and a skull so far.
Nice work

You people can really see all of that!? I'm very impressed seeing as how I only painted a skull in the smoke :)
I'd love it if someone could circle the images they see in the sand or smoke so I can see them too. This intrigues me.

Here ya go.
I'm a photographer and I seem to be cursed/blessed with seeing things others don't.
There's a skull, fish, man in the moon and rabbit.
The fish is more like a dolphin

Wow!! I didn't see those either.
That piece of art just gets better and better, I wish we saw more of the creator.

Better yet, how about if he posts it here?
What do you say, Boehmke?
Awesome painting, made even more intriguing by the hidden images - intended or not.
