The 2014 Constant Reader Awards (CRAs) are continuing, with Round 2 polls opening each Wednesday and Friday from May 7 until May 23. Each poll will be open for 7 days and close automatically. Then the OAG (Overall Average Grade, an average of all received grades) will be calculated and posted at the end of the poll and updated here as well. At the end, a sum of the Round 1 Final Average Score (FAS) and the OAG obtained in Round 2 will be used to determine each book's score going into the next round. The top 10 books (highlighted in green) will move on to the final Round 3, to begin on June 4.

This round is going to be tough for me. I typically don’t pay much attention to things like quality of writing or character development. I’m afraid my voting will be influenced on how much I liked the story rather than judging the individual qualities of the book.

FYI: Judging by past results it seems like a score of about 7.3 (or about 90%) is needed for a book to make it to the third and final round. Shockingly, Pet Sematary is in danger of not advancing for the second straight time (it came in at number 11 in 2012).

Bears were very instrumental leading up to the tournament. Very glad everyone is enjoying it, just wish we had more participants!

I think I need to get to reading, there's 3 books that made it to the top 10 that I haven't read yet :(
