4.

I enjoyed this one. I think SK did a great job at creating one of the most despicable characters when he wrote Norman. [shudders]

One of my favorites too that along with Insomnia (back to back) gets dumped on. Loved it!

Very good story; great antagonist. I'm due for a re-read and looking forward to it. Solid 4.

This is the only SK book I *really* found hard going the first time through. I had such bad memories of it I left it 10 years before a re-read. Must have been a bad phase in my life as subsequent readings changed my mind completely.

3.5. A good read, but not one that I would have a burning desire to re-read.

I'm actually thinking about re-reading it and re-reading is not something I normally do, since there's just so much to read the first time.

Also, can we get a few more fives up in this bitch, Rose Madder is always so unfairly lumped toward the bottom.

Hated it. King went through a period where women suffered (almost as a King apology to someone-Tabitha perhaps) but persevered. This was a weak one.
