This piece is drawn in a Scribner 1st edition trade hardback of "The Green Mile". Geyer previously has drawn images of "Old Sparky" the electric chair, but the chair has been empty. This is a new interpretation. Per Mark Geyer:

"I wanted to try something different.
I got the idea from a new cover that I just finished for King's Russian publisher for
their newest edition of The Green Mile."

I think I like this drawing better than the other, but you're right RF they are "companion" pieces.

I like how the Scribner logo is right above his head. I really want this one. It is the very first time this remarque has been done by Mr. Geyer. A rare treat. It's not exclusive to the HF, but it is the first of two ever done so far. That's gotta be worth something, right?

I'm still hanging in there on this one!! I like this image a lot. I think it surpasses the one in the GE, but that's just MHO. plus I gave away my previous "Mouse on the Mile" remarque when I got my signed copy so this would be a fine replacement and very unique as well.
