The
Horn of Eld is a fictional rallying horn in author Stephen King’s
The Dark Tower series. Passed from father to son, it eventually ends up in the hands of Roland Deschian. Carried by Cuthbert Allgood at the battle of Jericho Hill, it is left behind by Roland when Cuthbert is killed in battle.
The Horn was once possessed by the legendary Arthur Eld. Passed from father to son in the line of Eld, it eventually ends up in the hands of Roland Deschain from his father, Steven.
The Horn of Eld carries special significance in
The Dark Tower, when it returns to Roland's hand at the beginning of his next loop in the Mohaine Desert. This suggests that Roland's journey may take a different direction than before.
