Hoping Wuthering Heights comes out amongst the highest in this grouping, it's such a great novel.

I hope I'll be able to share this opinion some time. So far the book only bored me both times I've read it

I find it interesting the differing perspectives on love between Charlotte and Emily, in Wuthering Heights its used as nothing but a destructive force, not to mention how early it tackles interracial relationships. Jane Eyre reads easier, though.

I understand that it has ideas and deep meaning. I just don't like the novel itself.

I wouldn't recommend watching the 2012 adaptation of the book, it is very faithful to the book in ways you'd probably not enjoy lol

I suppose I should not be surprised that a higher number of "Horror" books will make our "Top 100" list, but I happen to think that is a "good thing". Every "Top 100" has it's "slant/bias" IMHO. Anxiously awaiting the final product and publication!!!
