Okay, fine: Northanger Abbey is one of Austen's novels I've not read. Does it greatly differ from her other work?
Wish I'd nominated Rob Roy.
Pouts no second of Ben-Hur.
Anyhow, if you like these contenders, get The Sword in the Stone for your kids.

Northanger Abbey is not different from any other Austen, but if I was asked to recommend one, just for someone to know what Austen is about, this is the one I would recommend.

Northanger Abbey is one of my favorites by her.
